The aim of the programme is raising technical staff to work with agricultural engineers closely. Students receive both theoretical and practical education throughout the two year study period. Applicable subjects are predominantly taught in the organic and soilless agriculture greenhouses, in the open fields and the plant - soil analysis laboratory on the school premises. Technical excursions are also taken to agricultural fairs and related enterprises.

The graduates can work at private enterprises such as vegetable and ornamental plant greenhouses, seed, fertilizer, irrigation equipment stores, and the related state departments of the country as technical staff.

At the end of the two year programme, students who accomplish the required higher education exam may continue their studies in horticulture, plant protection and field crops departments.
